## Understanding European Textile Sizes

European bedding sizes differ from UK and US standards. This guide helps you choose the right size for your needs.

## Duvet Cover Sizes

### Single / Twin (140 × 200 cm)
- **Recommended for:** Single beds, children's beds
- **Mattress size:** 90 × 200 cm

## Measuring Your Mattress

To ensure the perfect fit:

1. **Width:** Measure from left to right edge
2. **Length:** Measure from top to bottom edge
3. **Height/Depth:** Measure from top of mattress to bottom

**Tip:** Round up to the nearest standard size if your mattress falls between sizes.

## Care Instructions

### Washing
- Machine wash in cold or warm water (max 40°C)
- Use mild detergent
- Wash dark colors separately first time
- Avoid bleach

### Drying
- Tumble dry on low heat
- Remove promptly to minimize wrinkles
- Line drying is also suitable

### Ironing
- Iron on low to medium heat if needed
- Cotton textiles become softer with each wash
